As part of a $55 million upgrade of the Cox Business Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Snyder Environmental performed the removal and proper disposal of 93,000 square feet of spray-on ceiling texture and approx. 8,000 ft of piping from the arena, attic and boiler room. As part of this project, Snyder Environmental placed 40,000 sq ft in a single containment at the top of scaffolding across the ceiling of the arena to abate the ceiling texture from throughout the arena.
This abatement project was conducted on scaffolding, under strict Oklahoma Department of Labor supervision. The project required an always open channel of communication between multiple contractors and subcontractors to complete the scope of work according to project requirements.
